Equipment Available for Instructor Use
The Modern Languages Learning Center offers a variety of high quality audio visual equipment available for check out by instructors and faculty. This equipment can facilitate effective learning in language classrooms and we encourage all instructors to take advantage of the devices displayed here.
Dell Projectors
The Language Lab currently has three Dell Digital LCD Projectors available for instructor and faculty check out for a period of 4 hours. All digital projectors are available on a first come, first served basis. All projectors must be returned promptly after the class period for which they have been requested.

The Optoma Digital LCD Projector has an integrated DVD player and speakers for the ultimate solution in portability and versatility. These computers are equipped with Windows Vista, wireless internet capabilities, a CD-ROM/DVD Super drive, integrated webcam and microphone, and Microsoft Office 2007. The Casio Exilim EX Z750 Digital Still Shot Camera is available for check out to STUDENTS, instructors, and faculty for a period of 24 hours. Students will be required to leave a valid OU Student ID card in the lab and all users will be required to sign a Policies of Use Agreement form.

The Sony DCR-TRV39 MiniDV Digital Video Camcorder is available for student checkout for a period of two hours. Instructors and faculty may check out camcorders for a period of 24 hours. Students will be required to leave a valid OU Student ID card in the lab and all users will be required to sign a Policies of Use Agreement form. Users are responsible for providing blank MiniDV tapes. Blank tapes may be purchased from the front desk in the Language Lab for $5.00. Video editing software is available on all language lab Macintosh computers.

These CD players are equipped with AM/FM radio receivers and will play music CDs, burned audio CDs, and MP3 discs. All CD players are available on a first come, first served basis.
